Low Classic FW14-15

Low Classic was founded in 2009 by designer Lee Myoung Sin. The label showcases classic, timeless designs (hence the name Low "Classic") with an urban twist. Low Classic is my favorite Korean brand so it was an absolute honor to be invited as a blogger to attend the show last night.  I loved the collection and I can't wait to head to stores in the fall! Thank you so much, Low Classic! xx 

The theme for this show was "Young Artist" so the runway was decorated with playful patterns, marble artwork and bright, youthful colors.

This coat was one of my favorite pieces from the entire collection. It's made of .. almost a tie-dyed rumpled cloth-like material! It definitely is an extremely difficult texture to work with and I definitely haven't seen anything like it before. It's amazing how what normally would look like a Kleenex, looks like a wearable piece of art. This coat also plays along the popular trend we've been seeing a lot this season where fashion meets art, don't you think? I also love the mixture of purple, blue, and pink hues. There is just the perfect amount of each color to make the garment look balanced. I wonder how many tries it took to get it right.

This was my favorite look out of the whole show! I love the marble print on both the top and the skirt, and I feel like the amount of color and white are balanced out perfectly. Even with the loud print, the look doesn't look overdone at all. The pieces are fresh, clean, and modern. Something that definitely lacks in my closet.

I also got an invitation to the after party, but unfortunately it was a little too late at night for me to attend. 

Anyway, to wrap it up, I just wanted to say that this was an amazing experience and I'm so thankful that I got to be a part of it! Thank you Low Classic! I'll be looking forward to having an amazing fall/winter wardrobe this year!
